Meet Michelle

Michelle Lincoln has served on the Board of County Commissioners since 2018, following her tenure as a Marathon City Councilwoman. She currently serves as the President of the Florida Association of Counties and is a member of the South Florida Regional Planning Council. Nationally, she serves on NACo’s Community, Education, Workforce Development Steering Committee. Lincoln also sits on the Board of Directors for Career Source Southwest Florida and the Executive Committee of The Small County Coalition.


She is appointed to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board and the Monroe County Community Alliance Board. A member of the Marathon Rotary, an alumna of Leadership Monroe County, she supports Take Stock in Children and the Guardian ad Litem Programs. In 2018, she received the Kay Gradick Woman of the Year Award. Lincoln holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern KY University and is an Advanced County Commissioner graduate.
